so fun I forgot!!!

A few weekends ago, my sister Laura brought her girls to Starkville for the Cotton District Arts Festival and the CIRCUS! I guess we had so much fun that I was too exhausted to blog about it!

The festival was fun and weather was great!
The kiddos were all troopers and we stayed at the festival most of the day!

Smith's favorite was the "choo-choo!"

Some of my college friends were in town that weekend, too so we ate dinner at Anthony's Friday night! There was a HUGE table of us, but this was the only picture I took! ~ me and my friend Anne-Lauren!
On Sunday, we took the kids to the circus and they LOVED it! There were dancing dogs, pony rides, performing elephants (my favorite) and lots of other fun acts!

Smith's first pony ride! He was very serious the whole time but he really liked it!!!

Smith wasn't sure about the show.
He liked the animals but the dancing ladies and swinging trapeze were not really his thing!

AP was really nervous during one act when I man was standing REALLY high on a thing that looked like a hampster wheel!

We had a great time and it was a little bittersweet knowing that the next time Laura and the girls come to visit us, we will be in Clemson!

CHEESE!

They were ALL so precious I couldn't share just one of them!

i LOVE him! just absolutely LOVE him.

tee tee

I am completely aware that this may be a little more than you bargained for...but I do use this blog as Smith's "baby book" and so I try to document what I can.....and today........

He tee-teed in the potty!!!We got a potty last week and he's been sitting on it before he gets in the bath tub....usually he just sits there and says tee tee, tee tee!

But tonight...he really TEE-TEED in the potty!
I said "Yay Smith! That's a BIG BOY!"
So he looked up and gave me a high-five!

I know this is just a start but I am SO proud of my BIG BOY!

Easter Bunny!

Smith is totally terrified of the Easter Bunny! Hopefully its just a phase and we will like him next year! So when Laura and I decided to take the kids to see EB at the mall....Smith was having NO part of sitting in his lap...BUT he LOVED the bunny ears the lady gave him!!!

Nora liked them, too!

The kids "hopped" through the mall and were exhausted when we got to the car!
Since Smith and I were driving to Clemson on Easter, I don't have any wonderful family pictures of Easter morning, but I will post what I do have soon!

from dogs to cats....

I know I have not been blogging much lately and I have LOTS of updates on our little guy, but we have been kind of crazy around here! We have some exciting news!!! We are going to be CLEMSON Tigers! Reed has taken a job with the Clemson Uni1versity football team and we will be moving to Clemson this summer! Smith and I went to visit Reed and spent the week in Clemson last week and I really think we are going to love it!!! This is going to be a bittersweet move for us...We will be leaving the house we moved into when we married and where Smith was born...and our family will be much farther away, but this opportunity for Reed and our family is a true blessing and a faithful answer to many, many prayers! I am also VERY excited to be less than 2 hours away from my best friend Emily and her sweet family!!!

If you know anyone looking for a great home/weekend home in Starkville OR someone who might like to own a wonderfully successful and pretty awesome consignment shop :), please send them my way!!!

Eggs, Eggs, Eggs!!!

Smith had his Easter party and Easter egg hunt at school today!!!Our friend Halie came along and we had so much fun! I couldn't believe that he knew what to do with all the eggs and was so excited to put them all in his basket!!!

Smith liked "hunting" the eggs until he realized that they opened and had prizes inside!!! He ran and hid so he could check out all his eggs! It was so CUTE!

After the school party we headed to campus for the Easter Egg Hunt at the President's house! They had a tape up and wouldn't let the kids go until they rang the bell....Smith was not a fan of the "waiting game!"

Smith was also not a fan of the Easter Bunny so we didn't get a picture...maybe next year!!!
Happy Easter!!!
