3 months...

Smith is 3 months old and I cannot believe how much he has grown. Here is a 3 month update... * Weighs I4 pounds II ounces* His hair is starting to grow and it’s looking pretty RED. * Smiles and laughs a lot.* Loves watching Baby Einstein.* Recognizes “mama” and “daddy.”* Holds his head up.*Loves grabbing everything....especially mama's hair.

happy fall, yall...

Smith and I went to Madison last week and had such a good time. We went with Laura, Jason and Anne Parks to the JA Fall Festival. Obviously, Smith was not big enough to enjoy the fun and games, but it was a great excuse to put him in his adorable costume. I know you are thinking that I am a terrible mom for putting him in that....but he LOVeD it. He laughed and smiled all night. I think it was so warm and soft....AND he was mesmerized by all the people. Minnie Mouse had a great time, too. She played lots of games and won lots of prizes. As you can see in the picture, she STILL loves "holding hands."

lots of updates

Smith thinks he is superman. He loves when daddy "flies him" around on his tummy! He also loves taking naps with his mama....NOT in his bed!
He loves hanging out with his daddy. Today was Smith's first trip to church. It is definitely a chore getting him (and myself) ready to go and get somewhere on time. I was a little nervous leaving him in the nursery for the first time so we decided we would just go to Sunday School and then pick him up...One step at a time. He did really well and the ladies in the nursery were so sweet to him. I think next week we might make it to "big church" too. As you can see in the picture, Smith likes going to church!
Last night, our friends Keely and Porter came over to watch the Bulldogs play football. Porter is not sure about Smith. He is much more interested in Smith's toys that he is Smith....and he likes Stella the best!

We finally got a nanny...

Yeah right.... a FLOOR NANNY that is. And we LOVe it. Our friend Sutton has one and recommended it. Smith will just hang out in the floor nanny and entertain himself. It's awesome and one of my favorite purchases. I recommend it to all new moms.
My two babies relaxing as I got ready for bed. Smith is really starting to notice Stella and seems very curious about her.

Here are a few pics from the past week. Smith is really excited about his first Halloween. AP with her "SCARY" teeth....she thinks this is HILARIOUS.

hail dear ole state....

We had a great weekend and are so proud of the Bulldogs. After a long morning and lots of company, Smith decided to stay home with Tizzie during the game. He DID wear his BULLDOG jersey and I am sure he cheered loudly for his daddy and the dawgs. Uncle Woody and Aunt Jessie came to visit, too. (Check out Smith's cute halloween socks that Jessie gave him.)
I am so proud of my husband. What a deserving win for the players and the coaches.
The whole crew after the game....I never thought I would be the SHORTeST one in the family photos.
Way to go DAWGS. We can't wait for another BIG victory next week in Knoxville.

friends are so much fun...

We had a LONG weekend. I was in a wedding on the coast and Smith stayed in Starkville with his daddy. This was a great experience for daddy. I think he learned a lot, but he also had a lot of help. ...Gannie (Reed's mom) came Friday to help out and then his dad, POP, came Saturday. I think they had a fun Saturday of watching football with the guys.My dear friends Lili and Jordan got married this weekend in Biloxi and everything was beautiful.
Lili was a stunning bride.
This is Smith playing with our friend Katie.
Smith and I went to visit our newest friend, Garrett Kosko. He is so precious and SO tiny. Smith was NeVeR this small. Garrett's big brother Bailey was not sure about having all these babies around.
Smith has two more little friends that will be here very soon. Mary Cameron Martin and Sarah Spencer Wigley are both due to arrive in early November. Our friends got together on Sunday to shower their mommies with gifts.
